Nappies

You'd think it was simple wouldn't you. Probably like many new parents we opted for Pampers (terry nappies are out of the question for most sane people). Well... Pampers - pa. I fart in their general direction (as did my son when he wore them). Our experience was they were insecure and leaked a lot, so we thought go cheap and buy non-branded. Boots own were the order of the day, especially as at seems you spend the first month of the new baby's life in Boots for one reason or another. The result...great. Boots own beat Pampers hands down. Unfortunately that's not the whole story. One day recently (six months on) we were caught short and had to buy some more branded nappies. With trepidation a pack of Huggies were purchased. We shouldn't have worried, it seems we stumbled on the Rolls Royce of nappies. A little more expensive than Boots, but if you have a very active child they're worth the extra!
